Hi! I'm Katelyn.

I am a portrait photographer located in Taylors Falls, but happy to travel wherever you ask. My love for photography promptly emerged at the ripe age of 17. I had just won a film camera from my high school photography class - a definite upgrade from my beloved Canon point and shoot. I traded it it in for my first DSLR, a sassy Canon Rebel, and never looked back. Since then, I've adopted quite a few other camera buddies and in the process have chiseled a colorful approach to  photography.

I'd like to think that when you book with Hello Dolly Photography, you're booking with a friend. Connecting with my clients on a personal level unlocks so much depth that I know you will cherish in your photographs.

Lets dive in...

Fun Facts

  • I watch The Princess Diaries almost every night before I photograph a wedding.. It brings the right wave of nostalgia to comfort me before a big day of documenting.
  • When I was 5, I decided I wanted to be just like my elementary school Art teacher, Ms. Gibson. I'm not sure if it was because she covered a big table in candy every Friday, or if it was because I genuinely loved art. Maybe both.
  • To please my 5 year old heart, I graduated with a B.S. in Art Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. When in doubt!
  • I'm an enneagram 4
